How it is used

Working it properly
The craft under the instructions — direction, count and order. This is the part that is normally only said across a counter.
- A cleansing water, not a scent. It goes on thresholds, door handles, the back of the neck, the hands, and over a surface before anything is set on it.
- A capful in a bath, or on a cloth wrung out and drawn across a doorway from the top down.
- Used before company and after an argument. The tradition holds that a room keeps what happened in it.
- Kept for wiping rather than for wearing. Practitioners keep the working bottle separate from anything used as perfume.
